Ceramics - Pots and Bowls.

These pieces always start with the form of a 'vessel' but are concerned purely with aethetics and not intended as functional.

Concept/Inspiration.

Whilst this work starts with the concept of a 'vessel' as its basis it takes its own path once underway.

No matter how narrow an opening or neck in a piece of work - even as small as a pinhole - it creates the idea of an interior to the piece, as well as the visible exterior, with its own characteristics.

This 'interior' may not be visible thereby enabling the mind to create its own vision of that interior.
