Ceramics - Earthrings.
Earthrings are what I call these circles of clay that display the characteristics of earth, stones, rocks and craggs.
Concept/Inspiration.
Surface textures of these earthrings are enhanced by applying manganese oxide with occasionally glaze trailed over them.
Larger earthrings stand on a horizontal surface, smaller rings can be mounted and framed to hang on a wall (see images in gallery below).
